 “We design and produce Mabushi LED commercial lighting products. Since the launch of our Mabushi brand in 2010, we have been exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair twice a year to promote our brand and to catch up with the latest market trends. At this fair, we are showcasing our inLEDII lighting products which are suitable for use in offices, seminar halls, shops and warehouses. Buyers from Australia, the Chinese mainland, Europe, India and the Middle East are very interested in our inLEDII lighting products. So far, about 20 overseas buyers have expressed their interest in cooperating with us. We have established more business contacts this year as compared to last year. We are satisfied with the fair’s results so far.”

 “GE is engaged in the design and R&D of lighting products. Currently, 70 percent of GE lighting products are sold in North America, with the remainder being exported to Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. I have come to the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair for the first time to look for OEM partners and components suppliers and to collect market information. It is a very large fair that provides a good channel for me to look for manufacturers of indoor lighting products such as recessed lights for offices, downlights and suspended fixtures. Up till now, I have found about six potential OEM partners and more than 10 potential suppliers of components.”

Despite recent incidents in Hong Kong, Hong Kong continues to be a safe city for business with inbound and outbound flights operating normally. The Wan Chai area is not affected and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) is operating normally.
Visitors are advised to allow extra time for commuting and are highly encouraged to travel to HKCEC by MTR and Star Ferry to avoid possible road traffic congestion. Enhanced free shuttle bus service between the HKCEC and major areas of the city is also available. |
